Our friend the time machine

...and by "time machine" I mean the internet. Thank sweet justice for nice chaps like Leif Peng, an illustrator and commercial artist living and working in Canada. Leif has taken the time to scan hundreds of illustrations from the pages of 1940's and 50's magazines and posts them daily to his blog Today's Inspiration. You can and SHOULD check it out. His flickr account contains hundreds of illustrations arranged by subject, art studios and illustrators' names. If you're interested you can follow him on twitter or even sign up to receive one emailed scan every day! Woot, eh?!
You can also view Leif's original work at!
